SUB-PROJECT HYDROCASA
The objective of the subproject is "Hydrogen production via alkaline electrolysis in a low power renewable micro red with renewable wind and photovoltaic systems and with auxiliary electrical storage in batteries and supercapacitors"
It will build a low power micro red using wind turbines and photovoltaic panels as a energy generating system. These systems will be connected to a self-developed electrolyzer (Acciona Energia-Ingeteam Energy partnership), designing and manufacturing a hydrogen storage system (IDESA); integrating auxiliary power storage systems using batteries and supercapacitors, and fuel cell development itself (CEGASA) and, finally, developing power converters specifically for hydrogen devices and also will be implemented a control system for power management across the micro (Ingeteam Energy). This microred will be working to demonstrate the correct operation and integration of the different systems and equipments.
