THE FUTURE OF HYDROGEN BEGINS NOW

The Project Renewable Hydrogen (PSEH2RENOV), with reference PSE-120000-2009-3, is a project approved and financed by Ministry of Science and Innovation in the 2009 call to the grant’s awarding of the Subprograma de Proyectos Singulares y Estratégicos of the National Program of public-private cooperation , into the National Plan of Scientific research, development and technological innovation, 2008-2011.

The project has emerged in response to the need to promote and improve the hydrogen production technologies since renewable resources. Efficient and competitive technologies of hydrogen production will be specifically developed , allowing the introduction of Hydrogen economy in Spain using autochthonous renewable energy sources, abundants in our region, like wind energy, solar energy and certain forms of biomass. Also, the proposed technologies will reduce the CO2 emissions, obtaining high energy conversion efficiency and a significant impact in reducing energy dependence of our country

The project involves the colaboration of universities, public research organizations, research centers, technological centers and companies with researches and technicians with wide experience in R&D&i projects of hydrogen production and, because of their expertise, are highly complementary.
