The main goal of the project is to develop efficient and competitive technologies of hydrogen production, allowing the introduction of the hydrogen economy in Spain from autochthonous renewable resources, locating Spain at the forefront of knowledge and promoting a highly competitive industry. 

Real development of hydrogen like as an energy container, helping to the temporal       variability of renewable energies and  adapting the  energy  requirements and its       intermittence

To choose the processes of hydrogen production from the most abundant renewable       resources in Spain (wind power, solar and biomass).

Developing processes with high efficiency in energetic and chemical conversion, by       hydrogen production from water (thermochemical water splitting and electrolysis) and       from biomass  and its derivatives.

To reduce CO2 emissions in production processes with high energetic efficiency in       conversion and a significant impact in energetic dependence.

Electrolyzer design and develop, insistently to renewable energies.

Stacks development to PEM cells.

Construction of plants of demonstration with Renewable Energies and hydrogen       production by electrolisis.

Hydrogen Production by reformed and gasification of biomass using Thermo chemical       cycles.

Developing absorbents of purification and separation materials for H2 from bioethanol       and glycerin.
